In 2026, NLPSPA will award five scholarships as follows:

Scholarships (x5) one to the value of $3,000, one to a value of $2,500, one to a value of $2,000.00, one to the value of $1,500.00, and a fifth to the value of $1,000.00 to support a family member of an NLPSPA member (son, daughter, or grandson/granddaughter) to pursue post-secondary education at a recognized college, university or trades program to attain their educational goals, meet their professional objectives and succeed to their fullest potential.

Scholarship Criteria: The Board of Directors will establish Eligibility Criteria that may be modified from time to time depending on available supportive funding, applicants’ demographics, and administrative infrastructure demand. NLPSPA has a Scholarship Committee to administer the Scholarship Program.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
• High School graduate/post-secondary student.
• Accepted and registered to attend a post-secondary institute or trades program in September 2026 (two letters are required: first, a letter of conditional acceptance and second, a letter confirming enrollment/registration from the post-secondary institute.
• Two Letters of Reference, one of which should be from a teacher, guidance counselor, instructor or professor; references must be within last three (3) years.
• A computer typed application is required. The complete scholarship application must be submitted in one consolidated /scanned PDF formatted document by the applicant; screen shots are not accepted for the application or supporting documentation.
• All questions must be answered in full, including the applicant identifying information.
• Applicant or applicant’s family member must be a registered member in good standing of the NLPSPA (member’s name and ID number is required on the application).
• Open to students pursuing a degree or non-degree program in full-time attendance.
• Application to be supported by transcript of the most recent final grades from high school or post-secondary institute.

ONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED. Successful applicants must provide: a testimonial of the benefits of the scholarship; a letter of attendance post “drop” date; and a headshot picture no later than October 8, 2026, before the scholarship is awarded.

Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Only successful applicants will be notified.
