NLPSPA Celebrates Life and Happiness through music and dance! On January 6 of 2023 after a hiatus of three years, the Association held its annual dinner and dance celebrations, with over 200 NLPSPA members, their family members and other guests in attendance. Amidst the still sparkling Christmas lights, folks enjoyed a delicious meal together, were excited to meet friends they had not seen for some time, congratulated those who won prizes in the ticket draws, and then danced the night away to the fabulous music of Eric Webber, the DJNewSoundMan. It was very obvious that everyone had a great time as they jived, waltzed, twisted, step danced, and old fashioned waltzed across the dance floor until well into the late hours of the night. A great evening with great friends, great food, and great music. Book your calendars now for next year, January 5, 2024 at the Knights of Columbus, St. Clare Avenue.

In 1998, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the Newfoundland and Labrador Public Sector Pensioners’ Association (NLPSPA), the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and the NLPSPA collaborated on the design, development, and placement of an anniversary plaque to commemorate this milestone year. The plaque was subsequently affixed to a gazebo that is along a walking trail behind the statue of Sir Wilfred Grenfell on the grounds of Confederation Building.
