CARP NL, NLPSPA, and the participating associations of the NL Seniors Coalition are pleased to host a public Town Hall with the Newfoundland and Labrador Seniors’ Advocate, Susan Walsh.
The Seniors’ Advocate, Susan Walsh, will highlight key findings from the Seniors’ Report 2025, providing a comprehensive profile of the wellbeing of seniors in Newfoundland and Labrador. The report includes indicators related to health, health care, finances, housing, transportation, and safety and protection. While some findings are positive, the data overwhelmingly shows that the wellbeing of seniors in this province continues to fall below the Canadian average in many areas.
Ms. Walsh looks forward to hearing directly from you. This town hall will include an opportunity to share your experiences, ask questions, and offer ideas on issues that matter to you. Your input will help inform the work of the Newfoundland and Labrador Office of the Seniors’ Advocate.
Attendance (both in-person and online) is free and open to the public; however, registration is required. Tea/coffee/a light snack will be provided for in-person attendees. Doors open at 1:30 PM.
