NLPSPA and the affiliated associations of the NL Seniors Coalition will sponsor an Information-Sharing Town Hall meeting on the services and programs offered by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador that are useful and available for older persons as they age.
In cooperation with the Office of the Minister of Children, Seniors, and Social Development, the Honourable Paul Pike, together with senior officials of several Government programs and services, information will be provided on those services for seniors that are intended to assist older persons to live fully and engaged lives , to live in their own homes as long as they are able, and to provide relief on some of the basic needs in these times of high living costs. There will be time for questions and answers after the presentations. Tea/coffee/water and light refreshments will be available. To avoid congested parking, consider getting dropped off or carpooling and bringing a friend!
