What is Nav-CARE? Nav-CARE is a free program, matching trained volunteers with clients dealing with declining health conditions. Our volunteers assist these clients with finding resources to aid them in staying in their own homes longer, while combating feelings of social isolation and loneliness.
Our Presenter is Amy Way is the Nav-CARE Coordinator with Adult Rehabilitation, Geriatric and Palliative Care with Eastern Health Services. Amy’s background is in Recreation Therapy and she has worked with seniors in LTC and Personal Care Homes for over 10 years in both Alberta and Newfoundland.
This is a virtual meeting and internet access is required.
