DESCRIPTION:For anyone who was unable to attend the NLPSPA AGM or anyone who wishes a refresher\, NLPSPA is partnering once again with CARP NL and the Public Legal Information Association of Newfoundland and Labrador to bring you a session on the importance of having a will\, when to update it\, pitfalls to avoid\, what to include\, what is probate and why/when\, what constitutes a valid will\, what is an Enduring Power of Attorney and the requirements and what is an Advanced Health Care Directive and the requirements. \nOur presenter is Sara Hawkins\, an Access to Justice Coordinator with the Public Legal Association of Newfoundland and Labrador. Sara has 20 years experience as a paralegal and has worked with private firms\, legal aid\, the courts\, and non-profits. She has worked with all aspect of the law but has a passion for seniors who need help navigating the legal aspects of aging.
