DESCRIPTION:Presenting: Wills & Estate Planning\nTuesday\, November 21\, 2023 @ 7:00 PM \nNLPSPA is pleased to partner with Provident10 and the Public Legal Information Association of Newfoundland and Labrador\, to bring you a session on the importance of having a will\, when to update it\, pitfalls to avoid\, what to include\, what is probate and why/when\, what constitutes a valid will\, what is an Enduring Power of Attorney and the requirements and what is an Advanced Health Care Directive and the requirements. \nOur presenter is Sara Hawkins\, an Access to Justice Coordinator with the Public Legal Association of Newfoundland and Labrador. Sara has over 15 years’ experience as a paralegal and has worked with private firms\, legal aid\, the courts\, and non-profits. She has worked with all aspect of the law but has a passion for seniors who need help navigating the legal aspects of aging. SUMMARY:INCOME TAX\, BENEFITS\, CREDITS\, & OTHER CRA SERVICES
DESCRIPTION:Benefits and credits can make a big difference to people in our community. The CRA’s CVITP and Benefits Outreach Program help people and the organizations that serve them to learn about the benefits of tax-filing\, the benefits and credits they may be eligible for\, and the supports available to help with completing an income tax and benefits return.  \nAs 2023 is closing\, our thoughts will soon turn to the dread of filing our annual tax returns.
