NLPSPA Information Session: Income tax, Benefits and Credits March 31st 2021

NLPSPA is preparing for its next virtual membership information event. This will be a virtual offering and internet access is required.

If you have a specific topic, you would like information on, please email our office at pensioners@npspa.ca with your ideas and we will investigate the possibilities. Thank you to our members who asked for this second event and we are happy to have been able to organize this for you.

INCOME TAX, BENFITS, AND CREDITS

NLPSPA has engaged with representatives from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to host an information session for seniors on income tax, benefits and credits. Topics will include common types of income, credits and deductions such as GST/HST credit, disability tax credit, pension income splitting, medical expenses, etc. CRA will also provide information on how to file your income tax and benefit return, the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, online services and answer general questions you might have.

Following the presentation, there will be time for questions and answers.

Everyone is welcome for this most timely presentation as our thoughts and actions are now focused on completion of our 2021 tax returns.
