Christmas Greetings to our Membership

As we enter the season of Christmas, I want to take this opportunity to wish you and your families the very best of the holiday season and good wishes for the New Year.

The Board of NLPSPA is currently re-energizing our team and looking forward to launching our plan for strategic, targeted actions to have your issues heard by both federal and provincial politicians during the election year in 2019. There will be no better time for us to be visible, out-spoken, and publicly engaged than this New Year. Seniors and pensioners are a powerful lobby in our province, we make up a huge percentage of the voting public, and because of this we need to make sure that the politicians of all stripes know what concerns us and what remedies we are seeking.

It is with regret that we have not been able to get a newsletter to you before the Christmas holiday. However, rest assured that we will have one early in January, with lots of information and items of interest. Make a note that 2019 will be a convention year, most likely in the Fall as usual before the weather turns nasty again.

2019 will be an active year for the Association. The Board wishes you well over the holidays and looks forward to meeting as many of you as possible during our town hall meetings coming up in the Spring.

Be safe, be happy, and enjoy the holidays with family and friends. Remember to reach out to someone who may be alone this season and invite them to share some time with you.
